Analyzing its 1997 subscription list, the University of Wisconsin found that the least expensive journals in Economics tended to be those published by Non-Profit publishers. This table presents the 25 least expensive Economics journals in the Wisconsin subscription list, all of which recorded costs of less than four cents per 1000 characters, a standard measure of cost for journals. Only two of the journals were published by commercial publishers.
