Establishment of the Committee on Human Resources

1. Objective

Recruitment of human resources whom each university needs and systematic training and staffing are becoming more important in order that national university libraries develop much more rational management and continue offering the services which meet the user's needs. While examining the pending issues, this Committee examines what the member library should do in order to recruit a skilled library staff continuously and clarifies the problems and consider the solutions. And this Committee plans and holds some educational programs which meet the Association's purpose. and planning and deliberation of the JANUL Award.

2. Tasks

  (1) Examination of the issues and solutions about human resources, such as recruitment (including mid-career recruitment), training, development of skills and treatment of national university library staffs.   (2) Planning of the educational program

3.Organization

  (1) The Committee comprises the following members:

  (2)The Committee has the following Subcommittee for examining specific issues about an operation plan for the employment test of library staffs.

4. Period

The Committees shall be two years from the time of establishment. However it is extensible with the resolution of the General Assembly.
