FY2010 new Board meeting of the Japan Association of National University Libraries was held at University of Tokyo Library on May 20, 2010.
The operations of JANUL in 2009 were reported.
New President and Vice-President were selected and the role of each Director was decided. Then there was active discussion about many issues, such as (1) the proposed FY2009 statement of accounts, (2) the proposed FY2010 business plan, (3) the proposal of JANUL Symposium, (4) the issues of the Committee of Scholarly Information in the future and the proposal to the board meeting. (5) the proposed FY2010 budget, (6) dispatching officials to the related bodies, (7) details of the 57th General Assembly, (8) the organizer and schedule of the 58th General Assembly.
On the same day, the Committee of General Affairs, the Committee on Scholarly Information held their meetings.
