FY2008 4th Board meeting of the Japan Association of National University Libraries was held at University of Tokyo Library on May 18, 2009.
The operations of JANUL in 2008 were reported.
New President and Vice-President were selected and the role of each Director was decided. Then there was active discussion about many issues, such as (1) review of the committees, (2) review of the Regional Associations Promotion Project, (3) the proposal of JANUL Symposium, (4) the proposed FY2008 statement of accounts, (5) the proposed FY2009 business plan, (6) the proposed FY2009 budget, (7) dispatching officials to the related bodies, (8) details of the 56th General Assembly, (9) the organizer and schedule of the 57th General Assembly.
On the same day, the Committee of General Affairs, the Committee on Scholarly Information and so on held their meetings.
