2006 3rd Board meeting held

2006 3rd Board meeting of the Japan Association of National University Libraries was held at Tohoku University Library on October 26.
The state of operations after the General Assembly, including the report of the 53rd General Assembly and the activity progress of the committees were reported.
There was active discussion about many issues that the Association should address, such as (1) use of a reserve fund, (2) extend of Overseas Training Project, (3) planning of 2007 Management Seminar, (4) FY2007 business plan, (5) indices for evaluation of university library management, (6) replacement of the committee members of the General Affairs Committee and the International Scholarly Communication Committee, (7) personal system for senior directors of national university libraries.
