2004 4th Board meeting of the Japan Association of National University Libraries was held at University of Tokyo Library on May 20, 2005.
The operations of JANUL in 2004 were reported.
There was active discussion about many issues toward the 52nd General Assembly
in July 30, such as (1) the role of each candidate library of director, (2)
election of candidate libraries of auditor, (3) alteration of members of
committees, (4) the proposed FY2004 statement of accounts, (5) the proposed
FY2005 business plan, (6) the proposed FY2005 budget, (7) details of
the next General Assembly, (8) solving problem about NACSIS-CAT/ILL,
(9) despatching officials to the related bodies, (10) the organizer of
the 53rd General Assembly.
On the same day, the Committee on International Scholarly Communication,
the Committee of Scholarly Information and the Committee on Management
Issues held thier meetings.
