Establishment of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Education Program

1. Objective

This Ad-Hoc Committee is aimed at reconstructing the conventional education programs, setting up new education programs, and conducting and expanding the programs based on the ongoing investigations in order to ensure steady up-skilling for library staffs working toward a new development of library functions after the corporatization of national universities.

2. Tasks

  1. Planning and development of new education programs
  2. @
  3. Liaison and coordination with the National Institute of Informatics concerning these issues.
  4. Consideration and implementation of the Association's own education programs.

3. Organization

  1. The Ad-Hoc Committee comprises the following members:
    1. Chairman library
    2. Libraries designated by the chairman library
  2. The chairman library is elected in the Board of Directors.
  3. The Ad-Hoc Committee may have working groups.

4. Period

The term of the Ad-Hoc Committee shall be one year for the moment because the Ad-Hoc Committee will be reorganized based on the new bylaws in FY2004 when the final report of the Taskforce on Organizational Issues is approved in the 50th General Assembly.
