FY2012 new Board meeting of the Japan Association of National University Libraries was held at University of Tokyo Library on May 18, 2012.
The operations of JANUL in 2011 were reported.
New President and Vice-President were selected and the role of each Director was decided. Then there was active discussion about many issues, such as (1) About our committees, (2) the proposed FY2011 statement of accounts, (3) the proposed FY2012 business plan, (4) the proposed FY2012 budget, (5) dispatching officials to the related bodies, (6) details of the 59th General Assembly, (7) the organizer and schedule of the 59th General Assembly, (8) reviewing the management system of the Overseas Training Project from fiscal 2013, (9) JUSTICE dues(Draft) and guidelines (Draft).
On the same day, the Committee of General Affairs, the Committee on Human Resouces, the Committee on Scholarly Information held their meetings.
